Your matcha deserves better than a resealable pouch.
Kokuyō means obsidian, and up close the finish is a soft matte black that catches the light from across the room. Inside is brushed stainless steel. Two lids close over it: a fitted inner lid with a small knob, then a deep outer cap marked with the Honestea leaf.
Lift the cap, lift the inner lid, scoop, and close both again. It’s a small ritual that keeps your matcha shielded from light and everyday air between whisks. It sits easily on the counter beside your chawan and chasen, ready for tomorrow’s first cup.
Turn it around and there’s a small note on the back: “In Case of a Matcha Emergency, Break Jar Open!” We all have those mornings.
