The story
Put a pinch of the King beside our everyday Ti Guan Yin and you’ll see the difference before the kettle boils. The leaves are better shaped and more vibrant, and the cup is noticeably richer. This is the highest grade of Tieguanyin we carry, an Iron Goddess oolong from Fujian, made in the classic style. It’s sweet, finished with a light bake on the leaf, toasty, with that note of roasted pine nuts. Save it for the people who notice: the uncle who knows his tea, or the friend you brew for slowly.
Where it comes from
Fujian, China.
The highest grade of Tie Guan Yin, processed in the classic style with a slight bake on the leaf.
